Proudly presents Crick Creates. A creative community initiative

About Us

What is Crick Creates?

Crick Creates aims to bring inspiring, exceptional art and cross-generational community experiences to the village of Crick. As the population of Crick continues to expand, Crick Creates is about bringing uplifting, transformative art to the community and community to the art.

Why have a creative community?

Economy: local creative activities help businesses and communities to thrive, make a place desirable to live in and keep house prices buoyant.

Well-being: participation in the arts promotes hope, positive feeling, upliftment and social support.

Social: a community coming together leads to friendship, empathy, cross-generational interaction and safer communities

Who is behind Crick Creates?

Crick Creates is managed by The Wheels on Debussy www.thewheelsondebussy.com who devise, curate and present concerts and theatrical performances, foster and nurture creative communities, train musicians and commission writers to make and tour exceptional work to non-traditional spaces.

Crick Creates is funded by Northamptonshire Community Foundation and Daventry District Council.
